My Design Process + Project Overview

My Daily Goals.

My Daily Goals.

Hello 👋 and thanks for visiting my UX portfolio! I'm Rhoda Ismail, a UX designer and user researcher based in sunny California. I collaborate with teams to empower product usability and functionality, I conduct user research, and I help build solid experience designs.

I believe that identifying a problem is about finding and framing the right research question to flawlessly develop a successful product.

I help teams create agile design sprint sessions in product development. Over the course of a week, our dedicated design team joins the client to go over strategic overviews that enhance the products during sprint sessions.

This book solves big company problems using a 5 day methodology. The approach focuses on design frameworks and methodologies that can be applied to any industry.

My Go-To Design Sprint Resource

A big shoutout to Jake Knapp, the Author of Sprint, and the AJ&Smart team, a design agency based in Berlin, a worldwide successful agency. Sprint is the go-to design process that aligns teams to feel comfortable designing with stakeholders.

The kicker is that the sprint process only takes a week to complete! Businesses want design sprints because it validates the product mission within one to two weeks!

The Sprint process saves time and resources for businesses and allows them to see the project from end-to-end. I’ve implemented the sprint process with clients and teams who loved the process and confirmed their beliefs with actual results.

I definitely would recommend this book to anyone interested in enhancing their product and building transparency within your teams and clients.

Product Development Stages

I strategize with teams to test processes and launch products by using systematic approaches based on user interactions.
